One link and you’re playing with friends β€” Oh, Five!

What is Oh, Five!?

In Oh, Five! players flip cards one at a time, and the moment there are exactly five of the same fruitshowing, the first to ring the bell takes the cards. It’s a test of reflexes. Ring at the wrong time and you give a card to every other player, and when you run out of cards you’re out. The last player standing wins.

The rules fit in one sentence, but it’s harder than it sounds. The more cards on the table, the busier your eyes get, and your hand moves before you’ve counted to five. Mistakes are costly, so holding back is a skill too.

When can you ring the bell?

Playing online together

Creating a room gives you a 5-character code and an invite link. Send the link in any chat app and your friends join instantly. No install or sign-up needed. Up to 6 people can play, each on their own phone, and you can chat after the game.

When several people ring at once, the server decides by arrival order. It’s built so players with a slower screen update aren’t penalized.

The deck

56 cards in four fruits: strawberry, banana, lime and grape. Each fruit has three cards each of 1 to 4 fruits and two five-fruit cards. When the game starts, all cards are dealt evenly to the players.
